ENTRY-LEVEL START-UP TECHNICIAN

The Las Vegas Valley's #1 HVAC company is still growing and we need more New Construction HVAC Start-up Technicians to serve our growing client base. We stay busy all year, so you will have the opportunity for steady, year-round work. Start your career in a long-lasting industry, no HVAC field experience necessary. This is an entry-level position.

WHAT DO NEW CONSTRUCTION HVAC STARTUP TECHNICIANS DO?
We have a team that installs the heating and cooling equipment in new residential homes. This position follows the
installation team and is responsible for actually starting up the HVAC equipment within the homes.  Our New Construction HVAC Start-up Technicians ensure that the heating and cooling equipment is set-up and working properly before homeowners move in.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Checking to make sure the heating and cooling equipment is installed correctly (pitch on drain lines, pitch on coils, etc.)

  • Install thermostats

  • Wire up all low voltage controls

  • Evacuate systems

  • Test the systems to ensure they are working properly

  • Check gas pressures and refrigerant levels, making adjustments as needed


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 24 years of age

  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • Must be able to pass a drug test

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • Must have an EPA card

  • Must have HVAC certification (or completion of an HVAC program or HVAC technical course)

  • OSHA-10
